'this is what i mean by patience. sometimes you get a response that you would never think of before.'
               peter pabst

takako organised an evening of conversation with peter pabst,
tanztheatre wuppertal pina bausch's set designer. the evening started with an immersion to pina’s works on films, many of them rarely seen before, followed by an insightful conversation with peter on the nature of creative collaboration between pina and himself. barbara campbell-lange also joined with many interesting questions. the evening flew by with such inspirational talks and conversations with peter.

peter pabst realised 25 ‘playrooms’ for pina bausch. he has designed and produced theatrical spaces for the tanztheater wuppertal for over twenty five years; one of the most unusual and longest-running collaborations ever seen in the performing arts. pina worked on the principle that things that have not yet become art are more important than things that are art already. inspiring choreographers and theatres throughout the world, pina’s works do not seek to teach, do not claim to know better; instead they generate experiences, create driven, moving images of inner landscapes, exploring the precise state of human feelings.
